forget wolves, bats are better...they are one of my favorite animals
sadly these amusing little creatures are dying off all across north America because of a contagious fungus that causes them to randomly come out of hibernation and eventually starve to death. in some caves as much as 90% of the bats have died because of this (read more here [link] )
so far its killed at least a million bats and in all likely hood will kill millions more before its stopped, at this rate scientists are predicting that the little brown bat (my favorite species) may go extinct within the next 20 years
so quit bitching about your wolves, a bullet is a quick death. starvation is a cruel way to go.
